On this private tour of Birmingham, you'll explore a city that combines history, art and popular culture. From its industrial origins to the settings of Peaky Blinders and the creative neighbourhood of Digbeth, each tour will show you a different side of the UK's second-largest city. You'll be surprised at every turn!

Tour Options

When booking, you can choose between three different options. All of them last 2 hours and 30 minutes and include an English-speaking guide exclusively for your group. Below, you can see the details of each option.

Digbeth Private Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet at The Old Crown, Birmingham's oldest building still in use, and from here we'll begin a tour focused on urban art, creativity and the transformation of one of the city's most dynamic neighbourhoods.

We'll explore The Custard Factory, now a centre for design and technology, and admire the John F. Kennedy mural, a symbol of Birmingham's Irish heritage. Afterwards, we'll visit the Red Brick Market, a space full of art and small independent shops, and visit Arthaus and Fazeley Studios, where the industrial past coexists with contemporary art.

The finishing touch will be LOC. Studios, a space dedicated to audiovisual production that reflects the innovative spirit of the neighbourhood. After an hour and 45 minutes, we'll end the tour in this creative area of Birmingham.

Peaky Blinders Tour

In this tour, we'll meet in front of the impressive mural of the Shelby family, created by Jon Jones, next to New Street Station. From here, we'll begin a tour that combines history, myth and television.

We'll walk through the Piccadilly Arcade, admiring its Art Deco architecture, and continue along Edmund Street, whose Victorian buildings evoke the atmosphere of the series. We'll visit the Hall of Remembrance, from where we'll access the famous Birmingham canals, the setting for both the real history of the gangs and the filming of Peaky Blinders.

2 hours later, we'll conclude this private tour in the vicinity of the Worcester Canal.

Birmingham Historic Tour

If you choose this option, we'll meet at the entrance to St. Martin's Church, one of the city's most iconic churches, to begin this tour of Birmingham's past.

During the tour, we'll pass by the Bull Ring shopping centre, Birmingham Cathedral, Victoria Square and Chamberlain Square, among other places of interest. You'll learn how the city became the heart of the Industrial Revolution, earning it the nickname 'the factory of the world'.

Why is the bull so important and one of the symbols of the city? What commercial role did Birmingham itself play in past centuries? We'll answer all your questions during the tour.

After a 2.5-hour tour, we'll end the route at Eleven Brindley Place, next to one of the city's canals.

Benefits of a Private Tour

By booking this private tour of Birmingham, you'll enjoy a much more personalised service, as you'll have an English-speaking guide exclusively for you. In addition, you can customise the tour according to your preferences and take the tour on the day of the week that suits you best.
