Downtown Los Angeles Free Walking Tour
Tour Details
Just arrived in Los Angeles and not sure where to start? At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at 600 W 1st Street to begin this free walking tour of Downtown LA, where you’ll see the city’s main highlights and learn about its fascinating history.
We’ll start by admiring the exterior of the Walt Disney Concert Hall, designed by the renowned architect Frank Gehry. From there, we’ll stroll through the streets of Los Angeles and travel back in time to 1781, the year the city was founded. Did you know its name comes from a Spanish legend from the 16th century? Today, Los Angeles is one of the world’s most important cultural and entertainment hubs.
As we explore Downtown, we’ll stop by some of its most iconic landmarks, such as The Broad, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and the historic Angels Flight Railway.
Next, we’ll visit Grand Central Market, the perfect spot to experience the city’s incredible culinary diversity. We’ll then pass by the Bradbury Building before stopping at Los Angeles City Hall.
After around two hours, we’ll end the tour at La Placita Olvera.
