Kobe Day Trip
Day Trip Details
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Exit 2 of the Kintetsu Nippombashi Station to begin this day trip to Kobe. Ready to discover the hidden charms of one of the biggest Japanese cities? Let's go!
Once in our destination, we'll visit the Maiko Park, a calm coastal corner that offers spectacular views of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, the longest hanging bridge in the world. Here, we'll stroll along the Maiko Marine Promenade, a walkway with a glass floor that's under a bridge with unique views of the Seto Inland Sea.
Then, we'll travel to the Port of Kobe, the lively shopping district of the bay. As you explore this area, you'll enjoy the scenic views of the port, the iconic Kobe Port Tower, and sit near the sea.
Next, we'll head to Nankinmachi, the colorful Chinatown of Kobe. This neighborhood is filled with energy and reflects the city's diversity. Here, you'll have about 1 hour of free time to try delicious Chinese cuisine at its lively food stands.
Afterward, we'll visit the Sorakuen Garden, a traditional Japanese garden in the city center. This garden is known for its elegant design, historical architecture, and beauty, filled with ponds, stone bridges, and lush vegetation.
We'll end our day trip in the picturesque district of Kitano Ijinkan-gai, located on the slopes of Mount Rokkō. This area is famous for its beautifully preserved Western-style houses, built during the Meiji and Taishō periods.
Finally, we'll return to the starting point, where we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 9.5 hours.
